De populaire weblog Asfaltkonijn over 'Allemaal Anders':
Vorig weekend gaan kijken naar nieuwe programma van Ronny Mosuse, een optreden dat buiten verwachting weer eens een diepe indruk op mij nagelaten heeft. Ik vreesde eerst dat Ronny een weinig geïnspireerde Bart Peeterskloon zou worden nu hij ook kiest voor Nederlandstalige kleinkunst, maar het werd al gauw duidelijk dat hij iets totaal anders ging brengen. Zijn teksten zijn misschien minder doordacht, maar hun muziek is fijner ingevuld. Hoewel zijn bezetting veel beperkter is, konden ze met drie muzikanten hun songs perfect invullen. Hijzelf bedient naast de bas met de voet ook de bastrom, het veelzijdige gitaarwonder Aram (en bovendien ook een uitstekende leraar!) de hi-hat. Klaas Gaublomme vult de gaten met accordeon of toetsen en ondersteunt samen met Aram ook de vocalen. Na een even verbijsterende als amusante film over hun reis naar Congo, kreeg ik een variërende maar coherente set te horen. Originaliteit en zin voor experiment was nooit veraf, Afrikaanse sferen worden geïntegreerd in reaggea en ska werd gemixt met Ennio Morricone. Ook de covers (o.a. van Brel, Ramses Shaffy) waren steeds eigenzinnig gekleurd. Hier is hun nieuwe plaat te beluisteren, ik kan u “Tegen”, “Altijd maar Bergop” en vooral “Ik geef niet op” warm aanbevelen.
